Modern Slavery statement

Abberbury Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Abberbury has taken during the above financial year to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.

Abberbury is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business relationships, and to implementing effective systems and controls to safeguard against modern slavery and human trafficking taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.

Our Organisation

Abberbury is a corporate advisory and real estate investment firm. We provide corporate advisory, equity advisory, credit advisory, and real estate acquisition services to corporations, individuals, and institutional clients.

Our Business and Supply Chains

As a professional services and investment firm, our direct supply chains are relatively low-risk and primarily consist of:

  • Professional services providers (legal, accounting, IT, consulting)
  • Office premises, facilities management, and cleaning services
  • Technology and software providers
  • Recruitment and staffing services

Our Policies

Abberbury operates the following policies to support our commitment to preventing modern slavery:

  • Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy — sets out our approach to identifying and preventing modern slavery risks
  • Code of Conduct — reflects our commitment to acting ethically and transparently in all business dealings
  • Whistleblowing Policy — enables employees to raise concerns, including in relation to modern slavery, in confidence and without fear of reprisal
  • Recruitment and Right to Work Checks — ensures all employees are recruited fairly and lawfully

Due Diligence

We undertake the following steps to identify and mitigate modern slavery risk:

  • Assessing new suppliers and business relationships prior to engagement
  • Including anti-slavery clauses in supplier and vendor contracts where appropriate
  • Reviewing supply chain relationships periodically to identify areas of potential risk
  • Encouraging employees and partners to report any concerns

Training

We provide training to relevant staff to help them understand modern slavery risks and how to identify and report concerns. Training will cover our policies, the signs of modern slavery, and reporting procedures.

Assessing Effectiveness

We will monitor the effectiveness of our approach to preventing modern slavery through:

  • Periodic review of this statement and our related policies
  • Ongoing engagement with suppliers and business partners
  • Feedback and reporting through our whistleblowing channels

Approval

This statement was approved by the Managing Director of Abberbury on 1 January 2026, and will be reviewed and updated annually.
